This page explains how text messaging works with The Transaction Platform, what you are agreeing to when you give us your mobile number, and how to stop messages at any time. It applies to messages we send on our own behalf. Where we operate messaging for a client, that client's own consent terms also apply.
The short version
- We text you only if you gave us your number and agreed to be contacted.
- Reply STOP to end messages, HELP for help.
- Message and data rates may apply. Frequency varies.
- Consent to marketing texts is never a condition of purchase.
- We never sell or rent your mobile number, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How you give consent
Every form on this site that asks for your phone number shows two separate checkboxes. Both are optional and unchecked by default, and the form submits whether or not you check either one.
- Non-marketing texts: "I agree to receive appointment reminders, account updates, and customer care text messages from The Transaction Platform at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase."
- Marketing texts: "I agree to receive marketing and promotional text messages from The Transaction Platform at the number provided. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase."
Checking a box is your express written consent to that type of message. You can also opt in by texting us first or by confirming consent on a recorded call. We keep a record of when, where and how consent was given, and the exact wording you agreed to. After you opt in, we send one confirmation text with our name, how to get help, and how to opt out.
What we send
- Conversational — replies to your inquiry, qualifying questions, scheduling.
- Transactional — appointment confirmations and reminders, account and billing notices.
- Marketing — offers, case studies and updates, only with separate opt-in.
Some replies are sent by an AI assistant. It will tell you so if you ask, and a person takes over whenever the conversation calls for one. You can reply HUMAN at any time to reach a person.
Frequency, cost and carriers
Our texts come from (512) 764-0328. Message frequency varies with your activity — typically no more than 4 marketing messages per month, plus conversational replies. Message and data rates may apply according to your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported on major US carriers; delivery is not guaranteed on all carriers or devices.
How to stop or get help
Reply STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message and we will stop texting that number and send one confirmation. Reply HELP or INFO for contact details, or email support@thetransactionplatform.com or call 512-640-2797 for help. You can also email optout@thetransactionplatform.com or call the number on our contact page. Opting out of texts does not remove you from email; unsubscribe there separately.
Quiet hours and re-contact
We send messages between 8am and 9pm in your local time zone, and we honor state restrictions that are stricter. We do not text numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry for marketing purposes without express written consent, and we maintain our own internal do-not-contact list indefinitely.
Client-operated messaging
Where we run messaging on behalf of a real estate investor client, the client is the sender of record and is responsible for the lawfulness of their lists and consent. We require every client to collect express written consent, honor opt-outs immediately across all their systems, and comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and applicable state law. We will suspend messaging for any client we believe is not doing so.
Privacy
Mobile numbers and message content are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
