The Transaction Platform ("we," "us") provides marketing, lead generation and AI systems to real estate investors. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers our website and the services we operate for clients.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details you submit through forms, chat or calls — name, email, phone number, company and market.
- Business information you share during a consultation, such as deal volume, budget and current systems.
- Billing information, processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring source, and time on page.
- Cookies and similar technologies, including advertising and analytics identifiers from Google and Meta.
- A first-party identifier we set ourselves, stored in your browser for up to twelve months. It lets us see which pages you viewed before contacting us, and recognize a return visit. It is specific to this site, is not shared with anyone, and identifies a browser rather than a person — but once you submit a form we link it to the details you gave us, so we can see the pages you read before getting in touch. Clearing your cookies and site data removes it.
- Call and message metadata when you contact us — time, duration, and the number used.
Recorded calls
We may record or transcribe sales and support calls for quality and training. Where consent is required by state law, you will be notified at the start of the call and may ask us not to record.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule consultations, and deliver services you have purchased.
- To operate marketing systems on behalf of clients, including AI-assisted response and follow-up.
- To measure and improve advertising performance and site conversion.
- To send service updates and marketing communications you can opt out of at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
AI processing
Some of our systems use AI to respond to inquiries, qualify leads, draft follow-up and summarize conversations. Where AI handles a conversation it will identify itself as an assistant if asked, and a human reviews decisions that affect pricing, offers or contracts. We do not use client or seller data to train third-party foundation models.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers who need it to operate our business, under contract and only for that purpose: hosting and infrastructure, CRM and email platforms, telephony and messaging providers, analytics and advertising platforms, payment processors, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information where required by law, or in connection with a merger or sale of assets.
Client-collected data
When we run systems for a client, that client is the controller of the seller and buyer data flowing through them, and we act as their processor. Requests about that data should go to the client; we will assist them in responding.
Retention
We keep inquiry data for up to 24 months after last contact, client records for the life of the engagement plus seven years for tax and legal purposes, and aggregate analytics indefinitely in de-identified form.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correction and deletion — request a copy of your data, fix it, or ask us to delete it.
- Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe in any email, or reply STOP to any text.
- Opt out of targeted advertising and data sharing — available to all visitors regardless of state.
- Cookie controls — manage cookies in your browser; blocking some will affect site function.
- Non-discrimination — we will not degrade your service for exercising these rights.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights by statute, including the right to appeal a refused request. Email privacy@thetransactionplatform.com and we will verify and respond within 45 days.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege permissions for staff. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as required by law.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post revisions here and update the date above. Material changes will be emailed to active clients.
